Hey, everyone. I’m Sarah Giometti, the founder of Provaro Marketing. In this video, I want to talk about the difference between SEO (search engine optimization) and digital marketing. In reality, the big difference is, digital marketing is all encompassing. When you use that term, it means everything digital for marketing your business. It could be social media, search engine optimization, YouTube videos, video marketing, your website, pay-per-click, Google AdWords, Facebook ads. It’s pretty much anything that you can do online to promote your business falls under the category of digital marketing.
Whereas, search engine optimization (SEO) is one of those components. Now, there’s multiple aspects of SEO, but it’s really optimizing your website and your assets to show up in Google searches in front of people actively looking for what your services or products are. So that’s the main difference between digital marketing, which is all encompassing of everything you can use to market your business, and search engine optimization, which is just one piece of it. Whether it be organic or paid ads, it’s the attempt to get whatever your pieces of content are to show up number one on Google.
I hope this helps demystify the difference between digital marketing and SEO. If you like the content and you like our channel, I’d really appreciate you subscribing to it and click the button below. Again, I’m Sarah Giometti, the founder of Provaro Marketing, and I’ll see you in the next video.
